Every season has a different main character. Season 1 was focused on Eva and how she was insecure and sad for not having friends. Season 2 is about Noora and her relationship with William. Season 3 is about Isak, homosexuality and mental disorders and season 4 is about Sana and religion.
But resuming the series and the seasons to only this seems so unfair, because lots of other important things were talked on this show, in a beautiful, genuine and real way.
When my friend told me about this Norwegian series I immediately wanted to watch it because I always loved Norway and I am always up for a non-american show, I mean is so much fun to enjoy different series from different places we are not used to.
In one episode Skam conquered me and people all over the world were conquered too. Julie Adem, the creator of the series once told joking that her goal with Skam would be world domination, and well, she got it.
She got the world in love with wonderful Norway and those wonderful actors. The fandom sometimes gets on my nerves because of "shipp fights" but I still love to belong to it, because I remember how when it was still on we were all together, crazy waiting for the trailer to be released, to have a new clip. I remember how we all got together to find a way to watch Skam even if NRK blocked the site for the rest of the world.
Months after the end of Skam, lots of people like me still live with that series in our hearts, watching it over and over again.
How not to? This series will make you think about so many things and will certainly change your mind about some subjects but also make you think "I agree" many times.
Will make you laugh and cry *in norwegian*.
If you haven't watched it yet, go watch, go fall in love with those amazing characters and them stories, you won't regret it. If you already watched Skam, what are you waiting for to repeat, I mean NΓ !
Ps: Skam will have other versions too from countries like Italy, France, Germany, USA, Spain, ... The italian version has the characters already choosen and is already being produced.
Love, Joana
